NEW SINGLES LEAGUE INFORMATION:-

Email received from Matt Roberts re new singles league:-

I am currently in the process of setting up an interclub singles league (mens and womens) across the country. ( I currently organise the wigmore league http://wigmoreleague.hitssports.co.uk/default.aspx).

This new league would involve players playing 4/5 singles matches each quarter against players across the same area with similar LTA ratings with all results being sent to the LTA. I already have players with ratings as high as 4.2 interested so may be a good chance to get some good quality singles tennis played in the UK. The league would be free initially but there would be eventually an admin charge for the website and prizes.

I hope to start the new league in July but was wondering if you could forward this email to team captains in your association. Anyone interested should drop me a mail with their LTA rating and then I will be in touch about the first league in July.
